* Kim Maher, a Buena High graduate and member of the gold medal-winning 1996 U.S. Olympic softball team, will run a softball skills clinic for girls, age six to 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Ventura College.

The clinic also will feature Michele McAnany, a member of the Silver Bullets women’s baseball team, and former Cal State Northridge standout Barbara Jordan. Cost of the clinic is $30.
