Salsa Concert Salute to ‘Alma del Barrio’ Set

New York salsa band Manny Oquendo & Libre will perform at the Palace on Sunday in a 24th-anniversary salute to “Alma del Barrio,” a salsa program that airs for 12 hours on Saturday and Sunday on KXLU-FM (88.9).
The 7 p.m. concert will also feature the Alma Del Barrio All Stars, a group of L.A. salsa musicians under the direction of Rudy Regalado and Freddie Crespo.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the noncommercial KXLU.
The Palace is located at 1735 N. Vine St. in Hollywood.
