A pipe bomb damaged a Wells Fargo ATM in Norwalk early Wednesday, but no one was injured and no money was missing, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
Sheriff’s arson explosives investigators concluded that the 12:30 a.m. blast in the 13000 block of San Antonio Drive was an isolated incident, Deputy Angie Prewett said. She added that there were no witnesses and no descriptions of suspects.
The bomb caused minor damage to the ATM, Wells Fargo spokeswoman Kathleen Shilkret said. The former First Interstate Bank branch where the bomb exploded is slated to close in May, she said.
