Mock Trial Teams Receive Real Honors
Mock trial teams from Esperanza and Cypress high schools were honored at a Constitutional Rights Foundation of Orange County luncheon this month.
Esperanza was the top team of 48 schools in this year’s Orange County Mock Trial Competition. Cypress was the runner-up. Individual students from 40 schools also were honored for distinguished work.
The competition at the Santa Ana Courthouse drew about 1,000 high school students from across the county.
The foundation has sponsored the Mock Trial Competition for 16 years.
