Dick Clark Productions, a Burbank-based television programming provider, said its profit for the second fiscal quarter was $698,000, up 36% from $512,000 in the second quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter were $9.9 million, down 47% from last year’s second quarter revenue of $18.6 million.
For the first six months, the profit was $1 million, up 76% from $569,000 last year.
Revenue for the year was $20.8 million, down 23% from 26.9 million last year.
Decreased revenues were due to a talk show series that wasn’t renewed, while increased net income came from the licensing of some programs from the company’s library.
