NORTHERN ARIZONA (14-3, 7-0) at CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (8-9, 4-3)
Time--7 p.m.
Northridge has won six consecutive home games, equaling its longest such streak in seven Division I seasons. First-place Northern Arizona, which went 6-20 last year, is the most improved Division I team in the nation. Lumberjack shooters lead the conference from the field (51.5%), from the line (73%) and from three-point range (41%). Forward Andrew Mavis (14.6 points per game) is the leading scorer, but senior point guard Charles Thomas (14.0 points, 5.6 assists) is the best player. Northern Arizona turns the ball over 19.3 times a game, and Northridge will try to exploit that with its high-pressure defense.
