Detectives Investigate Possible Slaying
SYLMAR — The body of a possible homicide victim was discovered early Sunday morning, authorities said.
The body of the unidentified Hispanic male was found just after 8 a.m. on the side of the road in the 17300 block of Foothill Boulevard, said Officer Spence Leafdale of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The case is being investigated as a possible homicide, said Leafdale, adding that the cause of death and motive were unknown.
Detectives with the LAPD’s Foothill Division are seeking the help of the community in identifying the victim, he said. They are also asking witnesses with any information regarding the man’s death to call (818) 834-3115.
