Boys and Girls Club Plans Valentine’s Gala
The West Valley Boys and Girls Club will celebrate Valentine’s Day early this year with its third annual Valentine’s Day dinner-dance Feb. 8.
The black-tie-optional event for adults, titled “Taking Our Children’s Future to Heart,†is expected to be hosted by actor Beau Bridges at the Warner Center Marriott, 21850 Oxnard St., Woodland Hills.

The center also is planning to add a second site on the Columbus Middle School campus in Canoga Park to serve students ages 11 to 18, with a Teen Club, a Teen Center, a computer lab, sports programs and other services.
The event will begin with cocktails at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7. Tickets start at $150. Expected to attend are Councilwoman Laura Chick, an honorary co-chair of the dinner committee along with John Sebastian, chairman of the board of Sebastian International Inc., and Larry T.
