Loving Lahaina

Our family so enjoyed Wanda Adams’ article, “Looking for Old Lahaina� (Nov. 3). As a native, she captured the true charm of the town.

My daughter was married in Maria Lanakila church on July 26. Sixty-eight family members and friends flew in from California, Colorado and Idaho and shared a wonderful experience. The wedding was followed by a superb dinner at Gerard’s.

Thanks for the Lahaina story! Once again, you pointed out the true travel values of another delightful destination.
