Injured Rogers Vows to Play On
Forward Rodney Rogers, who missed 13 of 14 shots and had only two points, two rebounds and three assists in Sunday’s victory at San Antonio, made six of 19 shots and had 15 points and 10 rebounds against the Raptors on Tuesday night.
Rogers said the left shoulder he injured Dec. 19 against the Washington Bullets is still sore.
Rogers said he’ll try to play through the pain.
“The shoulder is bothering me, but I’ve still got to play,†Rogers said. “I’m going to keep playing and my shooting will come back.â€
