Generosity Appreciated

At a time when good news is sometimes hard to find, I would like to salute the tremendous generosity exhibited by two of Orange County’s finest corporate citizens.
Thanks to a creative and nostalgic fund-raising effort by Disneyland and a strong commitment of media support from The Times Orange County, more than $720,000 was raised to help children through the sale of bulbs that appeared on floats in the recently retired Disneyland Light Parade.
These funds were distributed to 18 local organizations that provide services to children in need throughout the community. This collaboration is a shining example of the good that can be done when area businesses recognize a need and team up to make a difference. Thank you on behalf of all who will benefit from your support.
