Re: Principal Reassigned to New Conejo District Post, Dec 14.
I am appalled at what happens to administrators who fail to live up to expectations. The principal, according to the article, had problems from the beginning, and most of the staff signed a 20-plus point complaint. So now, she is reassigned to coordinate a technology program.
This is one of the many problems on the educational scene today. If an administrator can’t “hack it,” he or she is given a lateral promotion with no loss in pay. This district must have all kinds of money.
