Pitcher Kevin Appier of the Kansas City Royals and pitching coach Jim Slaton of the Lancaster JetHawks will be among the instructors at the JetHawks’ baseball camp, which will be held Dec. 26-30 in conjunction with the Baseball Academy in Lancaster.

The camp is for players 7 and older. The fee is $150 for nonmembers of the academy or $120 for members and JetHawks’ season-ticket holders.

The Westlake High boys’ basketball team will play its alumni game Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Westlake.

Expected to participate for the alumni are Steve Aylsworth, who attends Lehigh, Billy Miller of USC, Joey Leavitt of Arizona and Josh Morrow, an actor on “The Young and the Restless.”
