Turnovers Costly for UCLA in Loss

UCLA (4-2) committed 27 turnovers and could never quite solve the stifling defensive pressure of George Washington (2-3) in a 76-53 loss Thursday night at the Charles E. Smith Center.
Maylana Martin led UCLA with 13 points. Tajama Abraham led the Colonials with 17 points.
USC 98, UC Santa Barbara 92--The Trojans (4-2) needed an overtime to do it, but they won their home opener in overtime against the Gauchos (4-3).
