City Hall Offices to Be Closed During Move
Fillmore residents have four more days to pay their traffic tickets or water bills in person before City Hall closes for the year.
Municipal employees are moving from the cramped outdated City Hall at 524 Sespe Ave. to the spiffy new $2-million building at 250 Central Park Plaza.
City Hall will be closed Christmas Day through New Year’s Day to give staff time to make the move.
The building and safety office, which like several other city offices is scattered around town because the present City Hall is too small, will close Friday to make its move to the new quarters. Messages can be left at 524-7125 and will be returned as soon as possible. Messages can also be left for other departments at 524-3701.
Telephones will be switched Jan. 2, when the new building is scheduled to open for business. The phones could be down for up to four hours while the switch is made, officials said.
Water bills and other correspondence can still be mailed during the transition to Fillmore City Hall, P.O. Box 487, Fillmore CA 93016.
