Shaw, a guard from Garden Grove High, scored 56 points in three games as Cypress won the consolation championship of the Los Angeles Valley tournament. In the final game against Chaffey, she scored a career-high 31 points and also had six rebounds and five steals. In the game, she also set a Cypress record by making eight of 10 three-pointers. She averaged 11 points a game last season and is at the figure so far this season.
