Laker update--There was some good news for the Lakers on Tuesday night. They play again 24 hours later. “I think that’s the best thing,†Eddie Jones said after the disaster in Chicago. “You sit back and let this loss get in you, you might be in trouble the next game. Luckily, we don’t have much time to think about this because there’s another game real soon.†Del Harris, who spent four-plus seasons as coach of the Bucks, is 3-1 against Milwaukee since taking over the Lakers.

Buck update--They are four games above .500 for the first time in four years and tonight look for their first four-game winning streak in nearly two years. Vin Baker (22.6) and Glenn Robinson (22.3) make the Bucks the only team with two players in the top 10 in scoring at the start of play Tuesday. They are also second and third, respectively, in the Eastern Conference, behind only Michael Jordan.
