Beverly Hills Put Down and Out by Hart, 62-39

Cory Johnson scored 17 points for Hart High in a 62-39 victory over Beverly Hills on Friday night in the semifinals of the Beverly Hills tournament.
Hart limited the Normans to a total of 11 points in the second and third quarters to take control.
The Indians (6-1) will face Palisades tonight in the championship game.
J.T. Stotts added 13 points for Hart.
Palisades 88, Canoga Park 56--The Hunters committed 14 turnovers in the first half of a semifinal loss to the Dolphins.
David Redmond had 21 points and nine rebounds for Canoga Park (5-3).
Cleveland 51, Buena 42--Mike Schultz had 16 points, 13 rebounds and eight blocked shots for the Cavaliers (2-2) in a consolation game.
Donald Holt added 14 points and 11 rebounds for Cleveland.
Ventura 73, Venice 52--Christian Gallagher had 29 points, including five three-pointers, for the Cougars (2-1) in a consolation game.
David Bluthenthal, a 6-foot-7 junior, scored 32 points for Venice.
