Riley Will Take Oregon State Job

Mike Riley, USC’s offensive coordinator, said Thursday night he has agreed to become Oregon State’s head coach. The official announcement will be made today in Corvallis. . . . Senior linebacker Sammy Knight was named USC’s most valuable player at the team’s awards banquet. Knight led the Trojans in tackles (121) for the second consecutive season and also led in interceptions (five).
