Woman Kills 2 Granddaughters, Self

A 50-year-old Hacienda Heights woman killed her two young granddaughters Sunday before taking her own life, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
The woman’s body was found in her house on Avocado Hill Way about 11 a.m., Sgt. Robert Stoneman said. Also dead at the house was a 9-year-old granddaughter. A 3-year-old granddaughter, who was critically injured, died at a nearby hospital.
Authorities would not identify the victims or say how the children or the woman died.
