No. 3 Louisiana Tech Too Much for USC, 66-47

The No. 3-ranked Louisiana Tech women used a 20-4 run at the start of the second half Saturday for a 66-47 victory over USC in the championship game of the Dial Classic in Ruston, La.
Louisiana Tech (9-0) took a 10-2 lead to start the game and never let USC (2-1) get closer than four points. Louisiana Tech led, 28-17, at halftime and built its advantage to as many as 27 points before USC went on a 14-0 run.
Alisa Burras scored 20 points LaQuan Stallworth had 13 points and 10 rebounds for Louisiana Tech. Tina Thompson had 25 points for USC.
UCLA 58, Baylor 55--Freshman forward Maylana Martin scored 13 points of her 17 points in a 24-0 second-half run that lifted the Bruins (3-1) to victory over the Bears (4-3) at Pauley Pavilion.
UCLA had trailed, 36-25, before its decisive run in which Baylor went scoreless for 9 1/2 minutes.
