Palmdale 48, West Covina 22--The Falcons (9-2) scored 41 consecutive points in the second half to erase a 22-7 deficit at Palmdale.
Manuel Flores caught an eight-yard touchdown pass from Jeremy Coleman, recovered two fumbles and returned an interception 44 yards for a touchdown.
Jan Brown led the Falcons with 95 yards rushing, including a 13-yard touchdown run, in 12 carries.
Shaun Griffin started Palmdale’s comeback with a two-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter. Pat Opperman gave the Falcons the lead on a 27-yard reverse on the first play of the fourth quarter.
Palmdale’s defense, ranked first in the region, allowed just 58 yards and four first downs in the second half.
