DELTONA, Fla. — A Florida high school teacher said it was bad enough that one of her students tried to slip LSD into her soda bottle, but what really bewilders her is that 30 classmates watched and didn’t say a word.
“These may not be the school’s top scholars,” Linda Woodard said Monday of the class of seniors who are repeating junior English, “but they ought to know better.”
Andrew Lewis, 17, was charged with poisoning Woodard last week.
Woodard reported having “vivid dreams” the night after her exposure to the drug, but she suffered no lasting effects.
