United Leisure 3rd-Quarter Earnings Up

IRVINE — United Leisure Corp., which owns and operates Camp Frasier summer day camps, Frasier’s Frontier amusement park and Planet Kids play centers, reported that net income for the third quarter rose to $1.5 million, or 12 cents a share, from $206,183, or 2 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue increased 29% to $2.2 million from $1.5 million.
Net income for the nine-month period totaled $381,280, or 3 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of $325,802, or 3 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue was up 54% to $3.7 million from $2.4 million. The company said the increase in revenue resulted primarily from increases in admissions and concessions following the opening of an additional Planet Kids and Camp Frasier.
