Adult School Offers Free Mammograms

Women age 40 or older with little or no health insurance can receive free mammograms Nov. 19 at the Conejo Valley Adult School.
No tax returns, pay stubs or formal documentation are required to receive a mammogram, which is an X-ray technique used to detect breast tumors before they can be be seen or felt.
The service will be provided by a mobile unit from UCLA and a grant from Amgen Inc.
The mammograms will be offered between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the adult school, 1025 Old Farm Road. Appointments are encouraged and can be made by calling (805) 497-4626 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
