La Quinta High Earns Press Club Grant
La Quinta High School’s journalism program has received a $1,000 grant from the Orange County Press Club, the first cash award by the organization to a high school.
The money will be used for a new camera and computerized image scanner, and press club members will mentor staff members of the student newspaper Aztec Sun, organization officials said.
