Fruit Juices Linked to E. Coli Outbreak

An outbreak of the bacterial disease E. coli that has sickened at least 13 children and young adults in the past two weeks has been traced to tainted juice, officials said. Ten confirmed cases have been conclusively tied to Odwalla fruit juice. Odwalla Inc. is based in Half Moon Bay, Calif. Several children have required hospitalization and kidney dialysis and at least one boy, 2, remained hospitalized.
