Robber Ambushes Pizza Shop Manager
A bandit robbed a pizza restaurant manager walking to her car with the night’s receipts in Camarillo early Saturday morning when he leaped out of a tree and pointed a gun at her, deputies said.
The unidentified assistant manager, who gave the robber a bank bag containing an undisclosed sum of money, was not injured.
The robber, dressed in a black ski mask, black hooded sweater and black jeans, fled behind buildings near the Domino’s Pizza restaurant in the 3600 block of East Las Posas Road, deputies said.
A search turned up no sign of the robber.
