The Spanish-speaking volunteers would help Latino families seeking assistance with parenting and child abuse issues.
Center officials said the volunteers will be both teachers and supporters for the families from across the county.
A training session for volunteers will be Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the center, 2482 Newport Boulevard, Suite 7, Costa Mesa.
