Friends of Library Luncheon Sept. 20

“Mystery Author Bonanza” will be the theme for Friends of Huntington Beach Library’s annual membership luncheon Sept. 20. Featured writers will be Garrison Allen and Taylor Smith.
Garrison is the author of “Stable Cat,” “Desert Cat” and “Royal Cat.” Taylor wrote “Common Passions” and “Guilt by Silence.”
Cost of the 11:30 a.m. event at Huntington Central Library is $12, which includes lunch.
Reservations may be made at the Friends Gift Shop at the library, by calling (714) 842-4481 or by mailing checks payable to FOTL to Friends Gift Shop, Huntington Central Library, 7111 Talbert Ave., Huntington Beach, CA 92648.
The deadline for reservations is Monday.
