Quarterly Profits Rise 27% for Align-Rite of Burbank
Align-Rite International Inc. posted a 27% jump in net income in its first quarter on a 24% rise in revenues.
The Burbank-based concern had a profit of $1.34 million for the quarter that ended June 30, compared with a $1.06-million profit in the same period a year earlier.
Revenues in the first quarter climbed to $9.5 million, up from $7.7 million last year.
Align-Rite is a maker of photomaks, precision plates used by semiconductor makers to help transfer circuit patterns onto semiconductor wafers. The company has customers in 20 countries.
