--Quarterback Vinny Testaverde scrambled in for the first touchdown in Baltimore Ravens’ history at the end of an 85-yard drive.
- Brett Favre moved past the 15,000-yard mark in his 66th game, tying Joe Namath as the third-fastest to reach the milestone. Dan Marino did it in 56 games and Jim Everett in 64.
--The 49ers, who opened with an easy victory over New Orleans, have the best record in the NFL since 1990. The top five:
1. San Francisco: 73-24 (.753)
2. Dallas: 67-29 (.698)
3. Buffalo: 66-31 (.680)
4. Kansas City: 65-32 (.670)
5. Miami: 60-37 (.619).
--Buffalo’s 23-20 overtime victory improved its record as the 1990’s best team as far as close games (three points or less) are concerned. The top five:
