Epoch Networks Inc., the 2-year-old Irvine-based developer of Internet and intranet systems, has received nearly $6 million in financing from two major venture firms, Boston’s Hancock Venture Partners and CIBC Wood Gundy Ventures Inc., of New York. Privately held Epoch, formerly HLC Internet Inc., has more than 100 employees in 15 branch offices around the country.
