Lassiter Leads Tampa Bay Victory

TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. national team player Roy Lassiter scored his 21st goal Saturday night as the Tampa Bay Mutiny beat the New England Revolution, 3-1, before a crowd of 8,128 in Major League Soccer action.
Steve Ralston and Goran Hunjak also scored for the Mutiny (15-12), which has a league-best 45 points. Lassiter opened the scoring in the 26th minute, Ralston made it 2-0 in the 46th minute and Hunjak scored in the 58th minute.
Imad Baba ended Mutiny goalkeeper Steve Budnick’s shutout bid in the 73rd minute on a 15-yard free kick for New England (7-14).
