School District Hires Business Director

Oak Park Unified School District has selected Martin Klauss as its new director of business and administrative services.

Klauss, who had been director of purchasing and transportation for the Oxnard Elementary School District for six years, will oversee all business operations and facilities for Oak Park Unified, a six-school, 3,000-student district in eastern Ventura County.

“We are thrilled to have Mr. Klauss join the Oak Park team and have been duly impressed with his reputation as a collaborative, responsible professional,” said Oak Park Supt. Marilyn Lippiatt. “His high standards of quality and personal leadership style will be a good match for our district.”

Klauss succeeds Stan Mantooth, who was recently appointed assistant superintendent for business and personnel services by the Ventura County superintendent of schools office in Camarillo.
