Laugh Factory to Host Jewish Holiday Services
For the third year, the Laugh Factory on Sunset Boulevard will celebrate the Jewish High Holidays with “participative, community-oriented services in the liberal Jewish tradition.â€
Rabbi Robert Jacobs will conduct the services, with Sandy Shanin Lasarow joining him as cantor and song-leader.
The Rosh Hashana service will be Sept. 14 from noon to 2 p.m., with a kiddush to follow. Yom Kippur services will begin with Kol Nidre on Sept. 22 at 6:15 p.m., followed by Yom Kippur day services on Sept. 23 from noon to 2 p.m., and Neilah at 6 p.m. A “break-the-fast†will follow.
