Burn Pulls Within One Point of Galaxy

Lawrence Lozzano scored two minutes into the second half as the Dallas Burn moved within one point of the first-place Galaxy in the Western Conference with a 2-1 victory Wednesday night over the Columbus Crew (6-16) at Columbus, Ohio.
In front of 13,190, Jason Kreis gave Dallas a 1-0 lead with its only shot of the first half in the 27th minute. The Burn (14-9) trails the Galaxy, 35-34, though Dallas has played five more games.
New England 2, San Jose 0--Joe-Max Moore scored both goals in his Majo League Soccer debut as the Revolution defeated the Clash (10-11) before 12,871 at Foxboro, Mass.
Moore scored on passes from Alberto Naveda for both his goals, as New England (10-10) stopped its two-game losing streak. San Jose lost its third consecutive game.
