Long Raises $19,500 in Supervisor’s Race
Ventura County supervisorial candidate Kathy Long has raised $19,500 for her fall campaign, according to finance reports filed Wednesday.
Long, a top aide to retiring Supervisor Maggie Kildee, is competing in the November general election against Camarillo City Councilman Mike Morgan to represent the 3rd District. The district includes Santa Paula, Fillmore, Camarillo, Ojai and part of Thousand Oaks.
Long’s campaign finance report covered March 10 through June 30. Her contributions included a $2,000 personal loan.
Morgan’s finance report was not immediately available.
Morgan and Long emerged from a field of four candidates in the March 26 primary election to qualify for the runoff.
