T-HQ Inc. posted record earnings and sales in its second quarter that ended June 30.
The Calabasas toy software concern posted net income of $496,000, compared to a profit of $281,000 a year earlier. In the latest quarter, T-HQ’s revenues climbed 75% to $12.1 million, up from $6.9 million a year ago.
For the six-month period, T-HQ posted a $235,000 profit compared to a $150,000 loss last year. Its sales rose 67% in the latest six months to $18.7 million from $11.2 million.
The company attributed its improved results to strong sales of several new products, including a game based on Walt Disney’s popular animated film “Toy Story.”
