University Women Give $5,000 in Scholarships

* The Thousand Oaks Branch of the American Assn. of University Women announced the winners of its 1996-97 scholarship awards. The following high school graduates were named:
Elizabeth Davis (Newbury Park High School), Dana Sterling and Sara Anderson (Oak Park High School), Heather Robertson (Thousand Oaks High School), Leslee Derahian (Westlake High School), Melissa Chatfield (Agoura High School), Teresa Lee (Calabasas High School), Charlotte Johnson (Conejo Valley High School) and Inna Shapiro (Indian Hills High School).
A total of $5,000 in scholarships will be provided this year. The names of two scholarship winners at Cal Lutheran University and two at Moorpark College will be announced in the fall.
