TUNCELI, Turkey — A woman with explosives strapped to her stomach as if she were pregnant blew herself up Sunday in the middle of a military ceremony in eastern Turkey.
Six other people died and 30 were injured, said Gov. Necati Bilican, who blamed Kurdish rebels.
The Anatolia news agency reported that 35 people were wounded in the attack, believed to be the first suicide bombing in the 12-year-old Kurdish war for autonomy.
