Two former Southern California College baseball players have joined independent minor league teams, former SCC coach Charlie Phillips said this week.
Jeff Beckley, an All-Golden State Athletic Conference selection in 1994 and ‘95, signed with Nassau, N.H., of the North Atlantic League. Beckley is a graduate of Trabuco Hills High.
Steve Dolias, shortstop on the Vanguards’ 1996 team, signed with Pine Bluff, Ark., in the Big South League.
