From Singapore to Malaysia by Rail
The Peninsular Line, Malaysia’s last working steam locomotive, is now offering luxury train service from Singapore to mainland Malaysia. The Peninsular offers two-day round-trip journeys between Singapore and historic Malacca on the west coast--a trip that takes the train past green hills, rubber estates and rice paddies. The cars are British club style.
Cost starts at $245 per person one way for the train only; round-trip packages, including overnight accommodations, start at $460. Reservations: (800) 937-4418.
