Booth, from Beverly Hills High, has become one of the hottest hitters around thanks to an adjustment he made about a month ago. Booth backed about five inches off the plate, which has produced positive results. He had three home runs in two playoff games last week to help Cypress beat San Bernardino Valley. He drove in five runs in a 12-4 victory Friday, then came back with a home run and two RBIs in Saturday’s 7-6 victory.
