Dallas Wins in Shootout

The Dallas Burn earned their second shootout victory of the season Sunday, defeating the Columbus Crew, 1-0, by virtue of a 3-1 edge in the tiebreaker at Dallas. Lawrence Lozzano scored the winning shot against goalkeeper Bo Oshoniyi in front of 35,250.
Colorado 4, Kansas City 0--Scott Benedetti scored four minutes into the game and goalkeeper Dusty Hudock posted his first shutout, leading the Rapids to the victory before 18,500 at Denver. Steve Trittschuh and Chris Henderson each added a goal and an assist.
