Landslide Leaves 5 Dead, 110 Homeless in Colombia

BOGOTA, Colombia — An overnight landslide caused by heavy rains destroyed homes and killed at least five people in Colombia’s southwest, a rescue official said Sunday.
A Red Cross spokesman said the landslide left about 110 people homeless in the isolated hamlet of Danubio, nestled in the country’s western mountain range, or Cordillera Occidental.
