Def Leppard will be one of those headbanging hordes on the road in the U.S. this summer, but the band will preface its tour with the kind of gig that’s a classic starting point for hard-rockers: a fraternity party. The group will perform songs from its upcoming album “Slang” at UCLA’s ZBT house on Thursday. Of course the idea is to get the word out to more than just a few suds-swigging brothers--the event will be broadcast live nationally, with L.A outlet KLOS-FM beginning its coverage with band interviews at 7 p.m.
