The Writer Has a Way With His Word Choice

I read with interest “Meet Mr. Destiny” by Duane Noriyuki on April 3. Noriyuki is evidently an erudite and sensitive man and I was charmed by the story he was able to bring forth from what many might have considered to be unpromising material.
Further, he’s not afraid to use an uncommon word, which is becoming a rare trait. I had to look up two words--which I enjoy doing--and I appreciate the opportunity to learn something new about people and language as well.
