Glendale Bombs Mission, 21-12

Dave Boger had four hits, including two home runs, and four runs batted in as Glendale College trounced Mission, 21-12, in a Western State Conference baseball game Thursday at Mission.
Boger had a two-run home run and a solo shot as well as a sacrifice fly for the Vaqueros (11-20, 6-13).
Glendale leadoff hitter Rafael Lomeli had three hits and scored six runs. Brett Niles had three hits and three RBIs.
Glendale starter Garrett Lee (4-4) allowed nine hits and five earned runs in six innings. He struck out seven and walked five. Jerry Najar (0-1) started and took the loss for Mission (11-20, 4-15).
Cuesta 10, Moorpark 6--Andy Huisenga had three hits and two RBIs for the Raiders in a WSC game. Eric Jue had two hits and drove in one run for host Moorpark (8-18, 5-10), which committed five errors.
Oxnard 3, Ventura 1--Ray Clinton gave up seven hits in seven innings and struck out four to lift the Condors (25-6, 16-2) over the Pirates in a WSC game at Ventura. Mike Muller had two hits and an RBI double for Oxnard.
Valley 6, Bakersfield 4--Pinch-hitter Mike Wertz’s ninth-inning single scored Steve Zorn and Javier Dorado with the winning runs for the Monarchs (12-22, 8-10) in a WSC game at Bakersfield. Zorn and Dorado pulled off a double steal to get into scoring position before Wertz’s single.
