‘Joyful Gathering’ Fund-Raiser Set

“A Joyful Gathering,” a three-night benefit performance of plays and dramatic readings, will be held at the West Angeles Christian Arts Center April 26-28.
Proceeds will go to the center and to Karamu House in Cleveland, an 80-year-old creative outlet for African Americans in the arts. Among its alumni are playwright Langston Hughes, actors Beverly Todd, Bill Cobbs and Robert Guillaume and center director Marvin Wright-Bey.
